NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Side roads off Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom - between Longsight Road and Redisher Lane
To introduce a temporary 10 mph speed limit along:-
Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom - between Longsight Road and Redisher Lane The reason for the proposed order is to fecilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route will be via Longsight Road, Brandlesholme Road and Holcombe Road.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Friday 01 May 2020 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 4 weeks (as and when required by the works). Dated 23 April 2020 Council Solicitor
