ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S15 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior and Restricted Byway No. 2 Mere

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic CTemporary Restriction) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the length of Public Restricted Byway composed of the following: That length of Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior which commences at OSGR SJ 7093 8050 and runs in a generally northerly direction for approx. 56m to its junction with Restricted Byway No. 2 Mere at the parish boundary at OSGR 7096 8055. That length of Restricted Byway No. 2 Mere which commences at its junction with Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior at the parish boundary at OSGR 7096 8055 and runs in a generally northerly direction for approx. 565m to its junction with Public Bridleway No. 1 Mere at Winterbottom Farm at OSGR SJ 7097 8104. The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public posed by the M6 motorway until the missing bridge that carried the restricted byway across the motorway, is replaced.

The Order will come into force on 20th March

2017 and will continue in force for a period of

six months, or until the works are completed,

whichever is the earlier.
