affected, a schedule of all streets included and a statement of the Council's reasons
for making the Order and introducing the proposals may be inspected at the
reception desk at the address below during normal office hours.
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must
be made in writing and sent to Traffic and Road Safety Services, 3 Knowsley Place,
Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ or by e-mail to rrafficxalming@bury.gov.uk by 4a
December 2017.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BLACKBURN STREET, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Blackburn Street, Radcliffe - Temporary Road Closure.
The reason for the proposed order is to enable highway ironworks, HRA and surfacing works.
The diversion route will be along - Thomas Street, Dale Street and Pilkington Way. The proposed Order will come into operation Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of November and then on Saturday 2501and Sunday 26& November (between approx 8.00am and 6.00pm). Dated 9th November 2017 Council Solicitor
