A SALFORD man has appeared in court after breaching a non molestation order.

At Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court, Scott Brown, 31, of Bournbrook Avenue, Little Hulton, pleaded guilty to breaching the order on April 2, 2020 after contacting the victim through her mother.

A non molestation order is a special injunction that aims to prevent a partner or former partner from harming a child with harm meaning actual or the threat of physical violence, any form of harassment or intimidation, as well as psychological abuse.

A community order was made and Brown was ordered to comply with a 17 day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) and ordered to to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

Brown will also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £90 and costs of £85.
