A SALFORD man has been jailed after he was caught behind the wheel three times over the drink drive limit.

Appearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court, Curtis O'Brien, of Little Hulton, Worsley, was stopped while driving a Ford Focus on Eastham Way on May 20, 2020.

A test showed he had 109 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

O'Brien, 31, also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance.

He was committed to prison for 16 weeks and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for two years and 56 days.
